Observation Table incorporates
the design and use of observation instruments from a scientific laboratory.
Tables, fluorescent lamps, projectors, and Petri Dishes: all common
objects within the context of scientific research.
However, instead
of finding unicellular organisms, we can see utopian
representations in the form of animals and
plants printed on the human skin as contemporary tattoos.
Observation
Table emphasizes the unreal properties given to animals and plants
regardless of the legacy of natural sciences.
It shows
the imaginative dimension as a primordial aspect and challenges the
certainties provided by the scientific
logic. |
